Cornerstone Creative Inc. dba Donors on Demand

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 16, 2026

1. Who We Are And Scope Of This Policy

Cornerstone Creative Inc., a Michigan corporation doing business as Donors on Demand ("Donors on Demand," "we," "us," or "our"), provides video production, branding, marketing, consulting, and related services for nonprofit organizations and other businesses (the "Services").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. It applies to donorsondemand.com and to other websites, landing pages, applications, services, and business brands owned or operated by Cornerstone Creative Inc. that link to or adopt this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Site"). It also applies to personal information we process in connection with inquiries, applications, sales, client relationships, meetings, communications, and delivery of the Services.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to a separately incorporated entity merely because it is affiliated with Cornerstone Creative Inc., unless that entity expressly adopts this Privacy Policy.

For personal information that we collect for our own business purposes, Cornerstone Creative Inc. is the business or controller responsible for that information. When a client provides personal information about its donors, supporters, employees, beneficiaries, or other individuals for us to process on the client's behalf, we generally act as a service provider or processor to that client. Section 3 explains this distinction.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide To Us

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Contact and identity information: name, email address, phone number, country, time zone, mailing address, and billing address.
  • Organization and professional information: organization name, website, job title, role, industry, annual revenue, organization size, donor count, fundraising information, marketing information, and publicly available business information.

  • Scheduling information: appointment date and time, availability, calendar details, attendance information, and meeting notes.
  • Payment and transaction information: billing details, payment status, transaction identifiers, and limited payment-method information received from payment processors. Complete payment card numbers and bank-account credentials are handled by payment processors and are not stored directly by us.
  • Communications: emails, text messages, phone calls, video meetings, Slack or similar workspace messages, form submissions, support requests, survey responses, meeting notes, and other communications with us.
  • Recordings and transcripts: recordings of sales calls, telephone calls, video meetings, client calls, interviews, training sessions, and similar interactions, along with transcripts, summaries, notes, and other materials derived from those recordings.
  • Client and creative materials: donor lists, CRM exports, email lists, donor contact information, giving history, CRM notes, photographs, video footage, audio files, scripts, documents, analytics reports, advertising-account information, campaign data, brand assets, testimonials, and other materials provided in connection with the Services.
  • Other information you choose to provide: any other information included in a form, file, message, meeting, or other interaction with us.

Please avoid sending personal information that is not reasonably needed for your inquiry or for the Services. If you provide personal information about another person, you represent that you are authorized to provide it and that any required notices or consents have been given.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, open certain communications, or interact with our advertisements, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • IP address, approximate location, browser type and version, operating system, device type, language, referring URL, and device or advertising identifiers.
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, forms started or completed, videos viewed, dates and times of activity, session duration, and navigation paths.
  • Email engagement, ad interactions, conversion events, and attribution information.
  • Information collected through cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, software development kits, local storage, session identifiers, and similar technologies.

Information From Other Sources

We may receive information from:

  • Advertising, analytics, and social media platforms.
  • Public sources, including organization websites, professional profiles, nonprofit filings, and other publicly available business information.
  • Referral and affiliate partners.
  • Clients, team members, contractors, and other people who communicate or work with us.
  • Payment processors, fraud-prevention providers, and transaction partners.
  • Vendors that help us operate our Site and deliver the Services.

We may combine information received from these sources with information we collect directly.

3. Client-Submitted Data And Donor Information

Clients may provide personal information about their donors, supporters, prospects, employees, volunteers, beneficiaries, vendors, or other individuals. This may include names, contact details, donation history, communications, CRM notes, photographs, recordings, stories, testimonials, and other information contained in client systems or creative materials.

For this information, the client generally determines why and how the information is collected and used. We process it to provide the contracted Services, follow the client's documented instructions, protect the Services, comply with law, and perform other activities authorized by the client.

Each client is responsible for having the notices, permissions, consents, and other legal authority needed to provide this information to us and to direct our processing. If your information was provided to us by one of our clients, please direct privacy requests to that client first. We may refer a request to the applicable client and assist the client as required by our agreement or applicable law.

4. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, personalize, and improve the Site and Services.
  • Review applications, qualify prospective clients, schedule meetings, and determine whether our Services may be a fit.
  • Prepare proposals, agreements, invoices, deliverables, campaigns, videos, branding, and other client work.
  • Communicate about inquiries, appointments, projects, transactions, support requests, and client relationships.
  • Record, transcribe, summarize, organize, review, and analyze calls, meetings, interviews, training sessions, and other communications.
  • Use artificial-intelligence-enabled tools to assist with transcription, summaries, note-taking, editing, content production, research, organization, workflow support, quality assurance, and delivery of the Services.
  • Send educational, promotional, and marketing communications as permitted by law.
  • Measure marketing performance, attribute conversions, build or use advertising audiences, personalize advertising, and conduct retargeting.
  • Analyze Site traffic and user activity, test features, troubleshoot problems, and improve our operations.
  • Process payments and maintain business, tax, accounting, and transaction records.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity.
  • Enforce our agreements, protect our rights and property, resolve disputes, and establish or defend legal claims.
  • Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, and governmental requests.
  • Complete a merger, financing, acquisition, sale, reorganization, bankruptcy, or other business transaction.
  • Carry out another purpose disclosed when the information is collected or authorized by you.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, our bases may include your consent, performance of a contract, steps taken at your request before entering a contract, compliance with legal obligations, and our legitimate interests or those of a third party, provided those interests are not overridden by applicable privacy rights.

5. Calls, Recordings, Transcription, And AI-Assisted Processing

We record sales calls, telephone calls, video meetings, client calls, interviews, training sessions, and similar communications for service delivery, documentation, quality assurance, training, dispute resolution, and business improvement. We may create or use transcripts, summaries, searchable notes, clips, and other materials derived from those recordings.

We provide notice and obtain consent before recording when required by applicable law. By continuing to participate after receiving notice and providing any required consent, you agree to the recording and the uses described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not want to be recorded, tell us before the interaction begins. Depending on the nature of the interaction, we may offer another communication method or may be unable to conduct the session.

We may use third-party technology providers, including AI-enabled transcription, meeting-assistance, editing, and content-processing providers, to process recordings, communications, footage, documents, and other materials on our behalf. Those providers may receive and process information as needed to provide their services, subject to their contractual terms, privacy commitments, security practices, and the settings we select.

6. Email, Phone, And Text Messaging

When you provide your contact information through a booking form, application, contact form, agreement, or other interaction, you may receive communications from Donors on Demand about your inquiry, application, appointment, Services, client relationship, educational content, and relevant offers.

Text messages may be sent using automated technology. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. You may reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance. You may also contact [email protected].

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method. Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent us from sending non-marketing messages that are reasonably necessary for an active appointment, transaction, project, account, or legal obligation.

7. How We Disclose Information

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers and contractors: providers that support website hosting, cloud storage, CRM, scheduling, communications, email, SMS, video conferencing, transcription, AI-assisted processing, analytics, advertising, payment processing, accounting, document signing, project management, creative production, security, and other business operations. Team members and contractors, including personnel located outside the United States, may access information when needed to perform their work.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: platforms that help us measure traffic and conversions, create audiences, deliver or personalize advertising, conduct retargeting, and understand campaign performance. We may provide identifiers, event data, device information, and internet activity, including through cookies, pixels, or hashed contact information.
  • Referral and affiliate partners: trusted partners that may be able to provide a service we do not offer, but only when you have asked for the connection or consented to the referral. Once information is provided to the partner, the partner's own privacy notice applies to its independent handling of that information.
  • Professional advisors: attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, consultants, and other advisors.
  • Business transaction participants: actual or potential buyers, investors, lenders, successors, or other participants in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar transaction.
  • Government authorities and other parties: when we believe disclosure is required by law, legal process, or governmental request, or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the public.
  • Other parties at your direction or with your consent.

We may disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, subject to applicable law.

8. Sale, Sharing, And Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information to data brokers or other third parties in exchange for money.

Our use of advertising and analytics technologies may be considered a "sale," "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising, or processing for targeted advertising under certain privacy laws, even when no money changes hands. Depending on how you interact with us, the categories involved may include identifiers, device and internet activity, approximate location, advertising or conversion data, and inferences. Recipients may include advertising, analytics, and social media platforms.

Where applicable law gives you the right to opt out of these activities, you may submit a request using the contact information in Section 15. We also treat recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, as an opt-out request where required by applicable law and where the signal can be associated with your browser or device.

9. Cookies And Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage, session identifiers, and similar technologies for purposes that may include:

  • Keeping the Site secure and functioning properly.
  • Remembering preferences, form progress, and session information.
  • Understanding traffic, visitor behavior, and content performance.
  • Measuring advertising and conversions.
  • Creating advertising audiences and showing relevant or retargeted ads.

You can control many cookies through your browser or device settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works. You can also review the privacy and advertising settings made available by advertising platforms you use. Where applicable law requires additional consent or opt-out choices, we will provide or honor those choices as required.

At this time, we do not respond to traditional "Do Not Track" signals because there is no consistent industry standard for interpreting them. Global Privacy Control signals are addressed in Section 8.

10. Data Retention

Our current practice is to retain prospect, client, communication, creative, and service records until deletion is requested or we determine that the information is no longer needed. This practice may result in indefinite retention. Call recordings, meeting recordings, transcripts, and related notes may also be retained indefinitely unless deletion is requested or we determine they are no longer needed.

We may retain information for longer when reasonably necessary to provide the Services, preserve business records, comply with law, collect amounts owed, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, or establish or defend legal claims. Tax, accounting, payment, and transaction records are commonly retained for at least seven years or for any longer period required by law.

Client-submitted personal information may be retained according to the client's instructions, our agreement with the client, backup practices, and applicable law. When information is deleted from active systems, copies may remain in backups or archives for a limited period until they are overwritten or deleted through ordinary processes.

We may retain aggregated or deidentified information for a longer period where permitted by law.

11. International Processing And Transfers

We are based in the United States. Personal information may be stored or processed in the United States and in other countries where our employees, contractors, clients, and service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws that differ from those in your location.

Cornerstone Creative Inc. primarily operates under applicable United States law and business practices. However, privacy laws outside the United States may apply in some circumstances. Where applicable law provides additional rights or requires safeguards for an international transfer, we will honor those requirements as applicable. You may contact us to ask about the safeguards relevant to your information.

12. Your Privacy Rights And Choices

Depending on your location, relationship with us, and applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to or a copy of personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Request deletion of personal information.
  • Request restriction of or object to certain processing.
  • Receive certain information in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Opt out of marketing emails, marketing text messages, targeted advertising, or certain forms of sale or sharing.
  • Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information, where applicable.
  • Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request, where applicable.
  • Lodge a complaint with an applicable privacy or data-protection authority.
  • Be free from unlawful discrimination or retaliation for exercising a privacy right.

These rights are subject to legal exceptions and may apply only if we meet the relevant law's coverage requirements. Nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to state that we are subject to a particular privacy law when that law does not apply.

To submit a request, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy Request. Please describe your request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

If the information was provided to us by a client and we process it on that client's behalf, we may refer your request to the client. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in the message. You can opt out of text messages by replying STOP.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These safeguards may include access controls, service-provider review, authentication measures, employee and contractor practices, backups, and other controls appropriate to the nature of the information.

No method of transmission, storage, or security is completely reliable. We cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for using appropriate safeguards when sending information to us and for protecting credentials or devices under your control.

14. Adults, Children, And Third-Party Services

The Site and Services are intended for businesses, nonprofit organizations, and people who are at least 18 years old. They are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review and delete it where required.

The Site and our communications may link to or integrate with third-party websites, social networks, payment pages, calendar tools, video platforms, client websites, or other services. We do not control the independent privacy practices of those third parties. Review their privacy notices before providing information to them.

15. Changes And Contact Information

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the "Last updated" date. If required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for a material change.
